Next Steps

OUR JOURNEY

We want to be transparent and share what our products are made of, while acknowledging our social and environmental journey is an ongoing and important project for us. We are committed to constantly considering what our overall impact is and how we can improve on it to create a more beautiful world.

What we’re made of

Our team have been working hard on implementing packaging innovation and waste reduction strategies, with one of our primary focuses of our packaging development to adhere to the principles of the three R's:

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

We have achieved significant reductions in packaging material consumption across all of our product categories, successfully reducing or changing unnecessary packaging components such as acetate windows or inserts and swapping our plastic candle lids for aluminum. We also introduced refill options for core product lines, which will only continue to grow, reducing packaging material usage by 66% to 80% and encouraging reuse.

Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to continue building on our packaging and product sustainability efforts, with the goal of ensuring every single component of our packaging is recyclable, recycled, or reusable. Included within this, is our aim to reduce overall packaging weight, minimise material usage and introduce more recycled materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint (which we have begun measuring in 2024).
